Let me start off by saying I don’t believe in dieting BUT I do think that eating healthy can taste good. I was making smoothies for breakfast for a while and would share them with L. I went to my friend Nikki’s house a few weeks ago and she was making a smoothie with spinach in it. I know what you are thinking… I thought the same thing but it’s delicious! It’s great for me as well because I do not like veggies at all.
I now make this every morning and if I don’t get to have lunch for a while it holds me over.
First I start with 3/4 cup crushed ice.
4 or 5 Strawberries (I normally use the ones that are a bit bruised)
Blueberry yogurt (For those who have not tried Pure yet please do! It’s delicious!)
1/2 cup of milk
sugar to taste
A handful of spinach (I don’t measure I just pick out a generous amount)
