I have been inspired…
by my sewing machine ;). I have tons of projects in the works and can’t wait to show you all! Now that I am getting the hang of sewing it’s all I think about. Kerry it’s not so hard, give it a try! I have a bunch of little projects that I want to accomplish and then I will be…wait for it… waiiiiit… attempting to make a dress for one of my best friend’s weddings. I made a 5 minute dress yesterday that I love but I think I have to make it just a teeny bit classier 😉
I also changed my facebook page to my blog name so it is more recognizable to y’all. (Thank you to Nikki for the idea – check out her blog its AMAZING!) So go over and click that little button that says like for me (i’ll be your best friend!)
We work at the Cornwall farmer’s market every Wednesday and the 1st Saturday of the month. I can’t believe that I get paid to hang out with such a powerful, awesome lady (wife and mom.) I get to talk to awesome people all day and I enjoy the sunshine. Plus the other vendor’s have the most delicious breads, cheese’s, meats, eggs, veggies, herbs, fruits, honey, food… I could go on but you get the idea and now you are starving! I got home in the afternoon to a sleeping 7 month old and a wide awake
(almost) 3 year old. I brought L upstairs and we made some chicken salad together. She asked if she could help so I asked her to taste it. She thought about it after a bite and said “mama it needs more salt and some mayo.” We added some more of both requested ingredients and she thought it was “perfectly wonderful.”
After trying to get her to eat the bowl of chicken salad three separate times, a slice of pizza and some mac and cheese I gave up. Sometimes she eats 3 or 4 dinners, literally, and other’s she just doesn’t want to eat. I tend to not force it but I like to try to get her to be full before going to bed so she doesn’t use it as an excuse to get up at 12am. J is now lying in his crib screaming his head off. I put him down when he was sleeping and he woke up 10 minutes later. His new thing is that he wants to be held until he falls asleep. The mom in me loves that he wants to cuddle but practically it’s just not something I can do. Once he cries for a few minutes I go in, check on him, give him his binky, calm him down and rub his back and then leave again. A minute later the crying starts. He is now saying dada over and over so it breaks my heart. I’m sure all the mom’s out there can sympathize with me.
It’s now 10 and I’m finally ready to eat something for dinner. I have some chicken in the fridge stuffed with fresh goats milk ricotta cheese, red bell peppers and fresh picked basil. I will be doing a post on that tomorrow but yes, it is as good as it sounds!
If you are ever in the area on Wednesday stop by the Cornwall farmer’s market and try an amazing Gluten Free cupcake. I promise to those who are skeptics we willprove you wrong 🙂
I am also starting a page (again thanks to Nikki’s influence) called Viewer’s pictures. I ask that you send me pictures of anything that was inspired by one of my posts to MomofTwosalums@hotmail.com. I will be posting them on this page with a link back to your site so it’s a good way to get your blog out there a bit more!
Good night all
Keep it positive!
**P.S – J is now asleep!!
