Repurpose Man’s button down – September Craft Challenge

I can’t believe it’s September already. My oldest is starting Pre-K on Monday but that’s a whole other post!

I have had a few button down’s from my husband for a month or so now. I have a few different projects picked out but I haven’t dove into it yet. I decided to challenge you and myself for the Sept challenge.

So let’s get at it people! Steal borrow a shirt from your hubby/partner/boyfriend/dad and figure out something to do with it! It doesn’t have to be used as a shirt… you could make a coffee cozy, a little girls dress, a peasant blouse. The possibilities are endless.

Feel free to leave a comment if you are planning on joining in so people will know who they are looking out for!

Once you have finished your project come back to my blog and leave a comment with the link. Also link this page in your blog so everyone knows where it came from. I am working on getting an actual linky setup soon!

I’m hoping this challenge takes off 🙂 It could be a lot of fun!!

Come on fellow craters, let’s get this challenge going together. I think this is such a geat way to create a tight knit community of crafters. Plus, it’s so much fun to see all the different versions that people came up with for the challenge. I’m looking forward to Pinning a lot of the entries for later reference inspiration. Happy crafting people.

  2. Ok, I know it’s almost time to display our refashions, but it literally took me up until now to figure out what I was going to do. I have no sewing machine skills (for now) so I had to research really hard on what my skill level could accomplish. I hope this turns out good. (keep your fingers crossed). I can’t wait to see yours. 🙂
