I LOVE doing makeup, I am actually thinking of taking it up as a career. I always get asked how I do my makeup and have been thinking about doing a tutorial for a while. I decided to try to do it on someone as I thought that might be easier so this one was done on one of my BFF’s Shelby. The next one I will do it on myself so you can see what it looks like on a different shaped eye. It is honestly easier to do makeup on your own eye but this was good practice.
2. Apply a white powder from below your brow line to your entire eyelid.
3. Take a light grey and apply it to just your eyelid making sure to get close to the corner of your eye
Take a darker grey and starting from the middle of your eyelid brush out to the edge. You also want to apply it just about your eyelid onto the bone. Go ahead take a second and feel the bone above your eyelid… yes right there. Rub the brush along there as well.
4. Take a black eyeshadow and apply it to the outer corner of your eyelid and blend just slightly into the dark grey. If you want the shadow above your eye to be more pronounced rub the black softly along your eyelid bone as well.
5. Take a black liquid eyeliner starting from just outside your eyelid, turn the brush slightly to the side so it will be more pronounced then follow the line all the way into the corner of your eye. Make sure the line gets slimmer as your go in.
If you want more of a cat eye then wisp the end of your eyeliner up a bit.
Finish with mascara.
I am also thinking about doing a video on how to apply. If you would be interested please let me know. If you have any questions on what you read above feel free to ask!
