Sloppy Joe Chili

This was something that I tried on a whim last night and it turned out amazing!

3 lbs Chopped meat
Large can of maple and brown sugar beans (Reg would also work)
Half red onion chopped fine
Can of tomato paste
2 cloves of garlic chopped fine
1/2 tbs basil
1/2 tbs oregano
1/2 tbs cayenne pepper
Generous helping of salt and pepper (I enjoy salt so I add a bit more than most)
Cheese for topping

Start off by cooking your chopped meat until its browned.
Drain it and return to the pan
Add your onion, garlic, cayenne, basil and oregano. Let it cook for a few minutes so the flavors blend together.
Add your tomato paste and beans. Don’t worry if it seems thick once it cooks down it will start to turn into a chili consistency.

Cook for 15-20 minutes on a simmer.

I paired my meal with egg noodles but it would also be yummy with rice or french fries (chips.)

Put a large helping of your noodles down and top with the sloppy joe mix. Add a topping of cheese while its still warm so it all melts together and enjoy!

This is the type of meal that in a few hours you will come back to because its just that good.

Shoot me a comment after you try it and let me know how yours turns out!!
