Cinnamon-Sugar Donuts

Ingredients:
1 Can Refrigerated biscuits
Cinnamon-Sugar {simply equal parts Cinnamon & Sugar mixed}
4 Tbsp butter
Generous amount of oil {amount depends on Pan}

Directions:

Heat 2 inches of oil in your pan. In order to make sure it’s hot enough just sprinkle a little bit of flour into it. If it bubbles your oil is hot enough.

In a bowl mix together your cinnamon sugar if you haven’t already done so when making my Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips

Melt your butter in a bowl and set aside.

Take your biscuits and pop them apart. You want to punch a hole in the middle of them. I used the top of a soda bottle as it was the perfect size. Make sure to keep your lovely little donut holes as we are going to fry them as well.

Once your oil is hot enough drop your donuts into the pan.

Frying Donuts

They will take 1-2 minutes on each side. Once they brown on one side just flip it over and cook through on the other. Take them out and drain them on paper towels to get rid of excess oil.

When all of your donuts are cooked throw your donut holes into the oil. They take about 2 minutes total, but make sure to roll them around in the oil so they brown on all sides.

Drop your donuts/holes into the warm butter, I just coated them on one side and then dipped them into the cinnamon-sugar.

These go fast in my house because they are very easy to eat! It’s perfect for all those summer BBQ’s!!
